(Arlington, MA) May 4, 2022 - Zippity’s Founder and CEO, Ed Warren, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization and operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Warren joins the NSBA Leadership Council in addition to other small-business advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small businesses to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

Ed Warren is the Founder and CEO of Zippity, a leader in field service software, recently raising $3.3 million in seed funding to expand their mobile automotive software to owner-operators in the home service industry, allowing operators to run their entire business from their phones. From his military service, as well as his enrollment at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Warren has become an advocate for the public policy and regulatory changes needed to support business owners, including regulatory simplicity, access to credit and capital, and health care cost containment.

“At Zippity, we’re dedicated to serving hard-working owner-operators with the tools to run a sustainable business, so I’m no stranger to the impact our laws and regulations have on business operations,” said Warren. “I’m excited to join NSBA’s Leadership Council and lend my voice to bringing forth the ideas, challenges, and opportunities I collect from customers and the greater community. I look forward to having a seat at the table as Congress and regulators address the issues and make policy changes for the betterment of small businesses everywhere.”

Warren joins the NSBA Leadership Council as part of his efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small businesses, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs, and how the Affordable Care Act will impact small businesses. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small businesses a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.

“I am proud to have Ed Warren as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “He came to us highly recommended and I look forward to our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
