Responsibilities for Sales Development Representative
- Maintain a self-starter attitude
- Perform high volume, outbound calling based on contacts provided by the marketing team
- Qualify inbound leads
- Generate interest from prospective customers and schedule software demos for Account Executives
- Persistently follow up with prospects to ensure they attend software demos
- Attend product training sessions and develop an understanding of our communication infrastructure
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting
Qualifications for Sales Development Representative
- Experience as a BDR/SDR for a SaaS company
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
- Working knowledge of the field service B2B SaaS market or the ability to learn new software quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
- Must be an excellent problem-solver
- Creativity and resourcefulness to get the job done
