Responsibilities for Sales Development Representative

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude 
  • Perform high volume, outbound calling based on contacts provided by the marketing team
  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Generate interest from prospective customers and schedule software demos for Account Executives
  • Persistently follow up with prospects to ensure they attend software demos
  • Attend product training sessions and develop an understanding of our communication infrastructure
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
  • Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting

Qualifications for Sales Development Representative

  • Experience as a BDR/SDR for a SaaS company
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
  • Working knowledge of the field service B2B SaaS market or the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver
  • Creativity and resourcefulness to get the job done
